De'Longhi ESAM6620 Prima Donna Bean-to-Cup Espresso Coffee Machine
Purchased a few weeks ago after a long think and review of Bean to cup machines.
Makes great fresh coffee, my wife loves the Latte Macchiatto.
Having owned a Nespresso machine this is cheaper to run and makes better coffee! but the machine is very expensive, i think you get what you pay for!
Easy to use and keep clean I just hope it lasts for 3 years at least.

The most delicious coffee at your fingertips!
We took some time to decide to invest so much in a domestic coffee machine: my husband was very reluctant! The moment he tasted his first cup he was converted and now would not be without our DeLonghi Prima Donna.
All of us use it every day and are delighted with the coffee. Even my non-coffee drinking daughter makes full use of the hot milk facility for frothy vanilla milk (just add syrup), hot choc or just with a spoonful of sugar. Super quick to heat up and very easy to clean too. A little noisy, but only actually when brewing a cup, and well worth it. It coped really well with a houseful of 12 at Christmas too.
You won't regret your purchase if you choose this one!

Good choice coffee machine
Good machine and not too difficult to work once you have used it a few times. Makes several combinations of types of coffee to suit lots of tastes.
It was delivered quickly which I appreciated very much as this was my first on-line experience.

The upsides - great tasting coffee, easy to clean machine, good quality build and good selection of different coffees. The downside, weve had this machine for about 3 months and had to descale it twice already. Otherwise a really good buy.

What a Fantastic Machine!
We purchased this machine three years ago and since that time we have made more than 7000 cups of coffee. During this time, we have had a couple of minor problems, the first while still under warrantee, was the top to the milk container which just did not suck the milk up. The replacement top arrived by carrier the day after we reported the problem to DeLonghi. The second problem occurred when the machine was two and a half year's old and out of warranty! The machine again would not pump milk, but black coffee was fine. We phoned DeLonghi who put us in touch with their local repair agent who discovered a faulty solenoid and fixed the problem in two days for an amazingly low price! We always descaled the machine every time the 'Descale' message appeared. We would certainly recommend this machine.

Bought this in Dec-10. Made good coffee, but gave a ‘general alarm’ fault every now and then, requiring a full clean out. Malfunctioned at end of Aug-10. Sent to Delonghi, apparently needed major circuit board replaced. However repaired machine did not work when got home. Returned to JL, and got the Siemens TE 703201RW, which seems [so far] a much better designed machine, quieter, and definitely worth the extra £100 over the Delonghi. Seen too many reviews about Delonghis needing repair since ours broke down, so beware.

Makes great coffee but needed repair.
The machine is relatively faff free and easy to use. It accepts and stores the beans and the ground coffee is put in a scoop under the flap. I love the taste and my wife has given up going to the coffee shop and has them at home form this machine. It makes quite a noise but thats all part of the show. The grinder broke about a month after we had it. Phoned DeLonghi and they picked up the machine. they brought it back repaired about a week later and it's been fine since. Warning - keep the box and packing !! We had bought a cheap machine before for about £150 and it never gave good coffee. There was a lot of faffing and it was never hot, only warm. I was worried that this one would also disappoint but it hasn't.
