This is a fun trampoline but the build quality isn't great and getting spare parts (we've needed quite a few over 2 yrs) is difficult. As a result, can't recommend.

I have to say that this trampoline purchase has been nothing short of disastrous which is highly disappointing considering that all our previous products from TP have been exceptionally good.
Starting from the beginning, the trampoline was easy enough to put together and nice to look at. The kids loved it and I was happy. However in under 2 weeks the weaknesses in the build quality began to appear (namely the little connectors that connect the legs to the uprights that hold the net). A few days later they sheared off and the uprights began to lean to the right.
I phoned John Lewis who asked me to dismantle the trampoline and then they could replace it. We did that and erected the replacement (yawn) which had a missing piece. So John Lewis sent me a third trampoline in order to extract the missing piece. So now we're onto a combination of trampoline 2 and 3.
However within just a couple of weeks, exactly the same fault has appeared and I have now discussed with John Lewis a refund. We will now have to take this trampoline down (that's a hassle) and find an alternative elsewhere (more hassle).
In short, this product clearly has a weakness with the build quality as outlined in other reviews and coupled with the lost days of constructing and deconstructing trampolines that we have had this summer I would advise others simply not to bother. By and large, John Lewis has been good but I'm pretty fed up and getting my money back simply doesn't compensate me for the time and hassle lost this summer, not to mention the 40 mins or so that it has taken to get through to the John Lewis customer service line.
I had a call with a nice lady at TP who said they didn't have a problem but clearly they have both a problem with missing parts and build.
I would say, buy something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LABP Great fun for the children, but tricky and fiddly to assemble
This is a lovely trampoline, but it was fiddly to assemble and my husband is pretty competent at this sort of job. He says the instructions could have been clearer. The children love it, and it looks good. I hope it weathers well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linson Excellent quality and easy to construct.
I had read a few negative reviews about product quality, however having bought several TP Toys products before I was happy to go ahead. As with my prior purchases from TP Toys the quality was excellent. The instructions were clear and very simple to follow. While still early days, the access "tunnel" is good, it is easier for the children to use and appears to be better than the older model's zip-up door. I would happily recommend this.

The adults liked it more than the children! Definately a must.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Neil667 Some parts very poorly manufactured - shame....
Great trampoline in principle - really let down by very poor build quality, though. We've had the trampoline up for 3 months over the summer and already parts of the frame have started to rust badly (despite being galvanised).
Also faulty are the long metal straps that hold up the safety net - they slot into each other using a tongue which is attached at one end with 2 very small and totally inadequate spot welds. All the tongues are either detached or working loose, hence the net keeps falling down.
To compound the problem, when the straps pop out of the tongues, the sharp edges of the straps are causing the top of the safety net to fray.
Shame, really. TP spares are looking into the problems - watch this space. Unless they have modified the way they manufacture the straps I will be asking John Lewis for a refund.
For now, my advice is 'do not buy'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Penata Good trampoline but flawed in parts
We wanted to buy the safest trampoline we could so we decided on this one even though it is so much more expensive than other 12ft trampolines.
In general it's really good, but the opening tunnel has both positive and negative points.
The opening gap overlap is a bit too short to be really safe - the 'tunnel' should be longer because kids could fall out if they bounce towards the opening too fast and uncontrolled (which kids tend to do!). Also the mat area by the opening isn't big enough or tight enough and there aren't enough ties to make it secure without gaps. They stand on this to get out and so the kids feet can go down gaps by the springs or get their leg stuck. Unless mine is just faulty? I'm not sure!
I am probably being more critical because it was so much more money than other models and because it's marketed as this super safe trampoline.
That said, the non-zip tunnel opening idea is great as there is no risk of the kids undoing a zip; I just think TP need to improve the design of the tunnel and mat a bit.
Two annoying negatives about ordering this from John Lewis: 1) there were NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box. How annoying! We found them online but still very irritating having to take a laptop outside to build the trampoline. 2) John Lewis delivered it 2 weeks late. We order lots of stuff from John Lewis and this really surprised us as they don't usually let you down like this. Upsetting because it was due to be here for a birthday party.

Rated 5 out of 5 by corndog Ideal for the children
Love this trampoline, our children are 4 and 6 years and they love it. A wise investment for any family.
My husband and I didn't argue whilst assembling the trampoline!! It took us about 3 hours.
We like the ladder and the tunnel and we are really pleased with this product.
