Q & As

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely sturdy product I hesitated about buying this as it is much more expensive than other similar walkers, but it is very sturdy and hard to tip up and the quality of the wood and paintwork is excellent. 24 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent quality truck of bricks My children learned to walk with a truck f brick similar to this many years ago. I wanted to buy one for my grandson but most others I looked at were inferior quality with plastic bricks. This is very sturdy, has wooden bricks and has alphabet letters and other symbols on them, perfect to help baby learn. I am very pleased with this and look forward to giving it to my grandson at Christmas. 24 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good choice! Bought for grandson for his first birthday. Seems to have been a good choice! 17 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautifully crafted and fun design We inherited an older model from neighbours 5 years ago which our 2 eldest granddaughters loved and still use. So I bought this for our youngest granddaughter's 1st birthday and it's one of her favourite toys. Great aid for learning to walk and the alpha-numerical bricks give endless fun for building and 'destroying' towers! 23 September 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely walker This was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The blocks are great quality and will be used after the walker is no longer needed. The wheels turn freely when pushed so it has the potential to slip away from my just-finding-his-feet little one but is no problem as I always keep an eye on him when he's using it and, in time, will be great for him to lush around on his ow. A classic, well-made toy without all of the annoying lights and jangly sounds of its plastic counterparts. 04 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Brought this for our Granddaughters 1st birthday, she loves it, she pushes it around with ease. It is very sturdy and doesn't tip. It is very well made and easy to put together, the blocks are a nice size with no rough sides that can scratch little hands. She takes the bricks out and puts her doll in and pushes it around. Great buy would recommend. 28 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Instant hit! Great quality, design, look and feel. Really sturdy and an instant hit with 10 month old who immediately stood up and walked across the room! Helped, I think, by the slight angle of the handle. Love that the letters and numbers are painted rather than stuck on and like the font. Added bonus of basic maths symbols too! The top screws are too long for the pre-drilled holes so need a bit of extra force, but I think that adds to the sturdiness. 15 June 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality, very disappointing! Looks like a wonderful toy, just the thing for a one year old practising his walking. All the family was excited about it.... However, on assembly, one of the two screws fixing the handle to the frame sheared off completey and was impossible to retrieve. Since we could not get any further, this walker had to go back to everyone's great disappointment. And as other reviews indicate there may be further problems with this product which we had not yet discovered. What a great shame for an otherwise useful toy, and how upsetting that John Lewis has not managed to change/ improve the poor material performance of this product despite numerous customer complaints. 01 June 2015
