Product information

It's only rock 'n roll (but you'll like this).
Your little axeman - or woman - will love getting their hands on this cool and classic looking instrument, in miniature form. Made from wood with a maple neck and fingerboard, the 6-stringed guitar features 21 frets, volume control (up to 10, not 11), picks and a line-in jack. There's a built-in amplifier and speaker, so all that's missing is a 9V battery - and amazing the talent.
Let's rock.

Q & As

Rated 1 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT a musical instrument The previous review of September 2nd is devastating - but unfortunately it is wholly appropriate. I say unfortunately, because the design of the guitar is great, and my godson - whose Christmas present it was supposed to be - would have been thrilled when seeing it. However (mine is a musician's judgement) the guitar is both untunable and unplayable. I shudder at the thought of a kid being left in possession of it; it would ruin his or her musical prospects for life. Having bought it on 23/11 at London's Oxford Street Store, I travelled there today to be refunded. 30 November 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is not a musical instrument To sell this as a real instrument for kids is a disgrace. At best they can make noise with it. The tuning keys slip. The intonation is appalling (by which I mean a semitone out on the first fret!) rendering it virtually unplayable. The range on the bridge isnt enough to correct it. The volume control for the battery powered speaker is intermittent, and although labelled as a 1-10 is really just an/on off. Maybe I just got a really bad one, but I dont think so. John Lewis what are you thinking? Can you imagine the look of disappointment on a kids face when he/she actually tries to play the thing. Will be returning it shortly. 02 September 2015
