Dualit NewGen 2-Slice Toaster
May only be a perception, but this toaster appears to produce toast much quicker than our last toaster. Both sides are toasted equally and evenly over the slice. Slots seem to be of a similar size to other toasters, this accommodates a small loaf, (400g), slice from the breadmaker, a 500g breadmaker loaf slice would stand well above/out of the toaster, it would need the slice to be cut in half. Very easy to operate and doesn't look too bad either. Would have given 5* if the slots had been a little larger

Classy toaster, very expensive but good quality item.

This is an expensive product, but it works brilliantly. The timer is big and on the front of the machine where you can see it, you can pop the toast up during the cooking and look at it, and the toast is uniformly browned. It feels solid and completely bomb-proof. You could probably buy several cheaper toasters for the money, but this one is just better.

Great British design?
Finally a toaster that does not feel like it will fall apart within six months. I agree that it is a little pricey however a five year warranty and the fact it has replaceable parts gives me hope.

My wife and I equip holiday cottages in SUffolk and I've lost count of the number of Dualit toasters we've purchased! They're fabulous quality and our guests love them!

Sweet as candy
it works as well as it looks, actually, it works even better than it looks ! It did cost a lot of money but all parts replacable, if need be.. should last a lifetime.

stylish but over-priced
Good-looking and the pop-up function is simple and good but it's a noisy machine, toasting takes a long time, is not uniform and toasting continues when the pop-up is operated unlike other machines. Very expensive; not really worth the money unless the look is more important than function..

Lovely colour - Apple Candy Red. Like the fact that one can see how the toast, etc. is doing by pressing down the little handle at the base. Toast not done? Then lift it up again and carry on. How smart is that! Dualit has done it again.
