Apple Mac Mini MD387B/A Desktop Computer, Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 500GB 4.3 5 13 13
new mac mini moved from pc to mac no problem really good basic mac for general use 15 July 2014
Apple Mac Mini Great little machine (replaced my older Mac Pro) hard drive a little sluggish and NEEDS more RAM almost unusable at standard 4GB - I've put in 16GB in - lovely! Also needs a rather expensive convertor to power up a 30" cinema display, standard MacMini will not operate 30" screen at full res - invest a bit and RAM and leads and a VERY usable cost effective little machine :-) 24 June 2014
Excellent product, does what it says on the tin, and more!!!! Product surgested to us by my son, so we reviewed it and looked around, found that it was the same price every where and decided to purchase it from your shop as you offered a two year warranty and your staff were very helpful and knew what they were talking about. Excellent I will be using you store again. 12 June 2014
Compact and powerful desktop computer Apple Mini Mac fits in anywhere saving valuable workspace. A unique feature enables user to partition the hard drive and run both mac and windows programmes 29 April 2014
A little disappointed This is my first Apple product. I bought it specifically for music and video production as I was being continually frustrated using Windows based PC's. I have needed reference books even for the simplest tasks; to me it seems less intuitive than a PC. My main gripe with the Mac is the number of Usernames and passwords you need on setup and it is intolerant of some of my preferred choices. Fortunately I did put in some personal details so I am able to use the machine. I am also disappointed with the lack of software that it is bundled with particularly the 'lite' version of 'Garageband'. All in all my impression of Apple is they are company who are trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of their customers. 12 April 2014
Small, but Excellent The Mac Mini offers everything you'd expect from Apple in a small and convenient package. If you're short on space, prefer a desktop to a laptop, but maybe can't quite stretch your budget to an iMac, then this is an ideal alternative. It's compact, quick and quiet, if quite a basic machine. It will handle most everyday tasks, reasonably well - storing and organising music or photographs, word processing/spreadsheets (either through Apple's own software available in the App Store; or Microsoft Office for Mac, which we also sell), internet use, email and more. You don't get a CD/DVD drive, a mouse, a keyboard, speakers or a monitor with this computer - these are all separate purchases. However, you don't necessarily need to buy Apple branded accessories - there are plenty of excellent alternatives and much lower prices, or you could even connect this to a TV and use that as your screen. It is prone to running a little hot at times, depending on what kind of tasks you are performing, but that is unfortunately a side effect of such small size. As with all of Apple's offerings, this is a well made computer, built to a very high standard. It packs a lot of punch for something so small. 27 February 2014
Mac Mini I purchased Apple's Mac Mini as i have had enough of the windows let downs.I looked at the iMac but couldn't afford to stretch my budget, so after reading loads of good articles on the Mac Mini, i took the plunge. I am delighted with my purchase, i switch the mac on & it just works & works very well compared to windows. All you need is an hdmi monitor to use with it & away you go . Don't let the size put you off as it punches above it's weight 24 December 2013
Only if you are a mac fan Afraid I am not impressed, in fact I hate it and wish I could return. Mac fans tell me to persevere but after 4 months I am giving up and will return to Windows. I think a mac is fine if you just want to play with your photos and their other gimmicks, but if you actually have work to do (and my organisation only uses windows) then why go to extra trouble to have to buy compatible software. 21 November 2013
