Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little item CLEVER, NECESSARY ITEM. SIMPLE TO USE. QUITE EXPENSIVE BUT MOST GOOD THINGS ARE 06 April 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked when fix found Having read on the internet of many people having problems with this device I was worried it may not work and indeed when I connected my ipad mini to my camera I was given the "connected device requires too much power" message. Disappointing. However, I used the simple fix that I also found on the internet which was go to the settings on the camera (not on the ipad), and turn OFF the power to USB. This worked for me. The problem was resolved and there were the photos on the ipad. 08 February 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Handy It is what it is and does what it should do and being Apple is expensive. But I knew all this when I bought it. But rather buy it from John Lewis than any other site. 07 January 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Specific Xmas present specifically requested by my son in law Excellent product purchased as a Xmas pressie for my son in law. Whilst he had included it on his wish list he is now extremely pleased with the product. I already have one of my own and it is an essential Apple product for managing photo's. 07 January 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Apple lightening to USB camera adaptor This is excellent and so useful to have with you to download your photos straight onto an iPad. 13 October 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by More than just a camera connector This cable is badly named by Apple as it essentially gives your iOS device a fully functioning USB 2 port. It can be used to connect many other devices - not just a camera or memory card. I am using the cable to connect an iPad Air 2 to a Yamaha keyboard. The cable is well made and as with all Apple accessories vastly over priced - hence I dropped one star. 14 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really useful and so easy to use This is such an easy and useful piece of kit. It means you can transfer photos from your camera to your iPad in a matter of seconds. Just plug your camera in at one end and your iPad at the other and it then asks you which pictures you want to transfer. Select the pictures and within seconds they are on your iPad. 07 July 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Limitations to use of this product! This will only work if your iPad can find the camera's DCIM folder, on my Nikon COOLPIX S3100 it couldn't. Nor will it work with an unpowered USB memory stick or SD card reader, although both work through a powered USB hub, which is how I use it. I subsequently bought an Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader MD822ZM/A, which works fine, but you have to take the SD card out of the camera each time you use it. 30 June 2015
