Gingerlily Silk Standard Pillow

Product information

A firm pillow made from 100%, 'A' grade mulberry silk, to support your head and neck. Gingerlily pillows are made using the same techniques as the duvets, therefore offering the same great health benefits. Each pillow is delivered with a protective sateen cotton cover.
About silk: Silk is the ultimate breathable material: it helps regulate your body temperature so you stay warm in winter and cool in summer. It is also 100% natural, hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites making it especially suitable for allergy sufferers.
Silk also contains amino acids, helping hair retain its moisture, keeping it shiny and smooth and has been attributed with helping to keep facial lines at bay.

Q & As

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing and expensive I wanted a thin but firm pillow and this seemed ideal but after 3-4 weeks of use the centre of the pillow seemed to split and became impossible to plump up. I've tried tumble drying it, shaking it and nothing works. Its lumpy and uncomfortable. 28 March 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Odd product. Heavy, solid, about 3" deep.I can't seem to make it comfortable & have resorted to using a feather pillow on top of it. Would have returned it if I felt I could have after giving it a months trail & replaced with a feather pillow of similar cost. Not one of my better buys. 03 March 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not 100% silk!! This pillow is not 100% silk, it is 50% polyester - so you are paying for a pillow that is not as described- Please be warned. I told them but it is still here- it is deceptive! 05 February 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect nights sleep! I have always had Hungarian goose down pillows but thought I would try these silk ones as I had recently converted to silk pillowcases and sheets. I wasn't disappointed. Not too bulky, just the right amount of filling, lovely and soft (I don't like firm pillows) but enough neck support. Combined with the silk pillowcases and sheets I have been sleeping really well. Would recommend. 26 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Marvelous for a stiff neck I have spent a fortune on pillows over the years and at last, I've found the best one. It is a slim pillow but really supports my neck and I have a really comfortabe night's sleep. 02 November 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by £100, for a pillow? First thing you notice is it's a bit heavier and more firm than a feather pillow. But unlike a foam or Tempur pillow you can still 'scrunch' it to bulk it up or flatten it a bit. Being 100% silk It seems to breath very well and doesn't get too warm. The most important thing though is that since using it, together with our silk duvet, I've had no nasal allergies or asthma whilst sleeping. A lot of money but well worth it to me. 21 June 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by i am happy with it i wish the prise was a bit lower. otherewise it's a good product. It just has a distinctive smell of raw silk, but it didn't coused any allergy. all the other problems which i had before, like tiredness after sleep and eyes irritation disappeared. it's still questinable how quick it'll became flat. 20 June 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by High quality this is a good pillow. Firm, it is best used with a down pillow which then combines the best of both worlds. 12 June 2011
