Q & As

Uppababy G-Luxe 2013 Stroller, Jake Black 3.5 5 2 2
Not for babies who like sitting upright! I bought this buggy online after being so incredibly happy with the design, comfort and features in my last buggy from this brand. I wish I had tried this one before buying it. It has some good features, it stands by itself, light weight, moves and folds very easily, handles for tall people etc. However after trying it out for a couple of weeks my main issue with it is that my son (18 months) is not able to sit upright enough. 3 levels - and in the most upright one he has to lift his head forwards in a very uncomfortable position as he wants to see everything and not lying back. Also the raincover does not cover the feet , when fitted like it should be - the feet sticks down, which only will get worse when he gets taller. Now that it is winter and he wears a thick jacket or snowsuit, the seat does not seem wide enough and his arms sticks out on the side. (No he is not a giant baby! :-) The seat is not very firm, so he easily slides forward into the front buckle and the legs sinks downwards together. It is good that it only is 5 kg, but that seems to also make it less solid and firm and not very comfortable to sit in. It might work better for smaller babies, but for us this does not seem to be a buggy they can have far into toddlerhood. 06 February 2014
Excellent Stroller I love my Uppababy G-Luxe 2013 Stroller! I had never heard of this make until I saw it in John Lewis. This stroller is great for travelling (we bought it for going on holiday), it folds neatly & is very lightweight. My 19 month old son is very happy in it & its great when he needs to nap as it reclines further back than most other strollers. I would totally recommend this product & would be happy to buy Uppababy again. 29 October 2013
