Rated 1 out of 5 by Dreadful Product These were a disaster. Read other peoples reviews advising that you follow instructions closely which we did. Tried these on several occasions to see if the eggs were better with practice, but sadly no. Eggs were overcooked on bottom by the time the top was barely cooked. 29 September 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Did the job These were simple to use and worked well, providing you follow the instructions. I think having a lid on the saucepan is key to making them work properly. We've got a glass lid on our saucepan, so I could watch the eggs cooking. I was a bit worried about overcooking them, so I gently tested the yolks with the back of a tea spoon from about 4 minutes and opted to take the eggs out after 5 minutes in total. This created a nicely cooked white, but still with a bit of a runny yolk, which is just what I was aiming for. The eggs take on the shape of the holders a little bit, so don't look as good as the poached eggs that you might get in a restaurant. However, cooking them this way was a lot easier, and they tasted just as good! 16 November 2014
