FoodSaver Automated Vacuum Sealer

The Food Saver FSFSSL3840-060 automated vacuum sealer keeps food fresher for up to 5 times longer. For simple and convenient food storage, the Food Saver helps you avoid food waste and provides fresher, more flavoursome meals for you and your family.

With its streamlined vertical design, the Food Saver will sit on your worktop without taking up valuable space. Simply put your food into a bag roll or accessory, and then insert the opened end into the machine. The unit will automatically detect the presence of the open bag and start the vacuum process.

The Food Saver will then adjust the vacuum speed depending on the moisture level of food, in order to ensure that liquid is not removed. Once the system detects that all the air has been removed , the bag is then sealed. LED indicators keep you informed of the progress at all times. Once all lights on the system are out, you can remove your freshly vacuumed and sealed produce.

Your food can then be stored in the fridge, freezer or pantry. It can be boiled in a pan to re-heat or cook, or placed into a water bath for Sous-Vide cooking. Food within the bags and rolls can even be defrosted in the microwave.

The Food Saver also has a Canister & Marinator mode. The canister mode allows you to vacuum seal larger items. Simply attach the hose to the accessory, the Foodsaver will then vacuum the air out. The Marinator mode works on a pre-programmed setting for 10 minutes. This function will marinate and infuse food in minutes rather than hours using conventional marinating techniques. (Marinator accessory not provided with product).
