Product information

An English painter, Wallis was a seaman and ice cream seller before he took up painting in his later years. He viewed his paintings as expressions of his experiences.

Unaware of linear perspective, Wallis arranged the objects featured in his paintings, in terms of relative importance, determining their sizes accordingly. Hence, the main subject of a painting would be the largest object featured, in spite of where it stood in relation to others.
