Tiny Love Sweet Island Dreams Mobile
We bought this mobile for our first child (now 3) and are now using it for our second. It is without doubt one of the best baby purchases we have made - I cannot recommend it highly enough! Firstly, the bright colours are stimulating enough to really capture (and hold!) a baby's attention - in my opinion bright colours are far better for this than the 'neutral' colours often used in nurseries. Also, as the turning part is at an angle, each time it goes round the characters swing round under their leaves, which again is very stimulating and interesting for a young baby. The choice of music is a great feature, and the ability to remove the mobile part when your baby outgrows it (ie when they are pulling themselves up and grabbing it!) and use it just as a music box is fantastic, and means you get months more use out of it. This was used every single day by our son until he moved into a bed, and I imagine it will be the same for our daughter. Before we bought it we thought it might be a bit expensive for a cot mobile but I can honestly say it was worth every last penny!

A nursery essential, well worth the money
I was holding this purchase until a friend asked me if I needed anything as I thought it was not essential but I ended up buying it myself, and I was right to do so!
It is great to entertain my one-month old baby with its bright colours, yet it doesn't look horrendous in the nursery as some other mobiles. And it has got different nice melodies, which makes it less monotonous.
Basically great to stimulate baby's sight, hearing, attention capacity, and body movements.
What I didn't imagine before using it, is that it would 'buy' me 20 minutes of freedom several times a day to do other things than holding the baby, like having a shower or fixing dinner! Especially in the first weeks when is difficult to find activities when baby is awake/alert.
Actually, second best nursery investment, after the nursing chair.
It also has a remote control, which we never use, but it works quite decently so I guess if you are too lazy to move from your chair/couch, it is a small bonus.
Overall a great gift idea for baby... and parents!

A lovely, well designed mobile for babies.
I bought this colourful mobile for my 3 month old grandson who lives in Germany. Initially there was a problem with non delivery but once I spoke to JL customer service another mobile was sent immediately and arrived in Munich within 3 days. I have just watched my grandson via internet telephone as he was lying in his cot, his eyes were fixed on the colourful animals twirling around and he was chattering away excitedly kicking his legs, and moving his arms as the music was playing. My daughter-in-law said it was very easy to assemble, just one problem with a large sticker on the long stem which was impossible to remove and has left a very sticky patch, but of course this does not detract from the enjoyment of the mobile. She said my grandson loves the music which sometimes sends him to sleep and said it was a good purchase.

Lovely Baby Mobile
We knew that our baby would love the bright colours of this mobile and he did! The little characters are really endearing and our baby finds them fascinating, especially as they rotate like puppets. We are also very impressed with the music which is not the usual tinny electronic music but recorded classical music. We use the Bach to entertain him when he is lively and the slower Nature and Island music, which mixes piano and birdsong to lull him to sleep. It is a lovely mobile in every way and was well worth the extra expense.
