Tolix "H" Stool, Raw Steel
This attractive metal chair is a true archetype of Gallic bistro-chic. Designed in the 1930s by Xavier Pauchard, its instantly recognisable shape has oft been mimicked, but never matched. The sturdy steel frame provides a surprisingly comfortable sit. Combined with attractive lacquered finishes, these styling cues make for an exemplar of industrial style. Despite this machine-like appearance though, each piece requires painstaking craftsmanship and is stamped with 'Tolix' to ensure authenticity.
