Easy to assemble, will need 2 people for some parts and took about 2 hours from start to finish. The quality is very good and looks like it will last a good few years of use, it has certainly proven a hit with the family. I love the fact that there is no zip opening which is certainly one of the major issues on other makes. Very sturdy and no additional speaks and rattles when in use - very happy....

When you buy a trampoline in a couple of years you will probably needs some spares to keep it in good order. You should really think about this before buying a TP.
We bought this trampoline a couple of years ago and it's been enjoyed by my daughters. The protective netting and most of the bits and pices above the trampoline, with the exception of the main side poles, needed replacing so we contacted TP and ordered replacements, well I should say we are still trying to! It's exceptionally difficult to get through to them, we wanted to talk to someone as we weren't sure which bits to reorder. The phone appears to be constantly engaged and you can only call Monday to Friday office hours, so all round inconvenient. We did manage to place an order, although we had to reorder as the flexible pole around the top of the net doesn't come with the net and we weren't advised of that when we ordered. So we finally think we have the bits to get the trampoline back into action, not so. One of the key features of a TP trampoline is the safety design around the net skirt, essentially a cord that attaches the skirt to the trampoline stopping feet coming into contact with the springs. To my amazement TP didn't send this to us and confirmed they don't send it out as a matter of policy but then forward one if someone complains!! I am sure there are other equally as good trampolines from out there, if you do go for a TP when you need to contact them for a spare or two you might regret it.

Having seen various trampolines at friends and family homes, I have to say that this has to be the best by far. Instructions are good. Read them before you build. Took a friends and I, 2 hours including making a minor error.
Tip1: do not tighten frame fully when assembling. Build the frame, give it a jiggle so that all the feet are firmly on the ground (even on uneven ground). Then tighten.
Tip2: might not be obvious but the 2 tie wraps you use to help you feed the long string between net and base mat. Make sure you align the net and base octagonal corners and then feed string thru alternating between net and mat.
Tip3: we purchased the 10' trampoline. With the legs is quite big. Having a big garden this is not an issue for us, however you can get full measurements from TP Toys website.
Q. Why buy from John Lewis?
A. Peace of mind. Trusted retailer. No quibbles. 2 deliver drivers dropped of 3 big boxes to where we were to build in garden. Also gave an additional tip to stretch base mat starting at 3,6,9,12 position. Makes life to easy when you know how.
I also emailed TP Toys twice and not a single reply.
Might be slightly more pricer than others but there again it is super safe and excellent build quality. Made to last. Need any help or more info then please contact me and I will surely reply and help where possible.
Most of all. Hope the kids enjoy it. My 2 LOVE it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Westcoastmum Great trampoline - huge problem getting spare parts though!
Great trampoline. Kids loved it and I was very happy that they seemed so safe in it. However the Surroundsafe got damaged in a storm and needed to get a few spare parts. Initially I was not worried because I thought TP was a reliable company and being endorsed by John Lewis I thought I would have no problems with this. However I was quickly proved wrong. I have been waiting on these parts since the beginning of May. It seems they are on a boat from China and there are still no sign of them. The were originally due in June, then July and now August. I am beginning to wondering if they will ever arrive.

The top part of the trampoline that the netting hangs from is very difficult to put together and has come loose on a number of occasions. Otherwise the kids love it!!

A Great product! Our 5 year old loves it and it's strong enough for me (dad) to go on with him. When his friends comeover for playdates it's the a big hit.
So much better than buying lots of plastic toys that only get played with once. Well priced and easy to assemble.
