Sisters Catherine de Groot and Sarah Gibbs founded Trilogy in Australia in 2002, naming the brand after the trilogy of words that inspired their high performance natural skin care range - simplicity, purity and vitality.
With previous experience in the beauty industry (Catherine worked as a beauty journalist whilst Sarah’s company manufactured ingredients from plants for the cosmetic and natural supplement industries) the pair joined forces after Sarah developed a new way to extract pure rosehip oil. Impressed by the results of this lightweight, non-greasy oil, the sisters knew they had found something special and set about creating a range of natural products that were efficient and sophisticated, and with therapeutic benefits.
Committed to using high quality natural ingredients and ethical and environmental sustainability, their ethos is fuss-free skin care that works in harmony with the skin and fits easily into their customers’ lifestyles.
Trilogy products are not tested on animals and are formulated without animal-derived ingredients, with the exception of beeswax and honey. All products are free from genetically modified organisms (GMO), parabens and synthetic fragrances.
