These were a birthday present for my daughter. She is delighted with them but says that she feels that they should be displayed, too good to use!. Of course, she will use them.

I was delighted with this beautiful cup and saucer, which features a famous Wedgewood design. It was presented in a stylish box which made the gift more special and also provided protection on the journey to Italy.

I bought four teacups and saucers as a Christmas present for my daughter- in -law who enjoys making cupcakes and inviting her friends for afternoon tea. They are extremely pretty and delicate and perfect to enhance the taste of tea. She had already bought the matching tea plates, two blue and two pink, so these have completed her set and she is delighted.

A charming fine bone china set with gold rim on both cup and saucer. Part of Wedgwood's 'Harlequin' range, it's beautifully and very securely packaged in a round gift box. This design makes 'having a cuppa' something special as it's so delicate - my index finger just about fits through the handle, so men might find holding the cup a bit of a challenge! I've got both the pink and blue designs and like to mix-and-match them for a slightly quirky look: the colourways work together beautifully.
Each cup holds 7 fluid oz/200 ml. Wedgwood says that they're microwave-safe (I've never risked it) and recommends Hand Washing only. However I subject mine to a daily 30-min dishwasher cycle using Fairy Platinum tablets and after 6 months can't spot any deterioration, not even in the gold rim. My only complaint is that the cup doesn't sit securely in its saucer. The depression in the saucer is too wide and shallow, so the cup has a tendency to slide about and not find a natural 'home' position. Nevertheless I must like them a lot as I've just ordered some more - from John Lewis, naturally!

Love these! Couldn't resist these, beautiful old fashioned pattern,I've always loved the Cuckoo! I bought pink and blue cup and saucer. So, beautifully packed by Wedgewood in strong blue and gold gift boxes which were in celophane bags so the gift boxes were protected. The cups and saucers were very well packed inside the gift boxes.
I also bought the set of plates of which there is one of each colour (pink, blue, peach, green), but I just wish John Lewis would sell the peach and green cup and saucer so I can collect all four colours to match the plates. (Have tried purchasing elsewhere but out of stock of peach and green, one web site took my order and payment, but then said they were out of stock, but fortunately refunded me! Always a worry with unknown web sites). Wedgewood website out of stock as well with peach and green cup and saucer). Hopefully, in time, JL will stock those 2 colours also.
