Q & As

Rated 5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delightful I wanted a delicate teapot for 2 and this delivers perfectly. I love the pattern and it pours beautifully and the lid is very secure. The only issue I have found is when using good quality tea with big leaves the spout can block and it's hard to get out the leaves at the end. However this is a minor issue. You get 4 cups if using the matching cups and you can top up after first pour then you could have more. I have the whole set including cups and plates and love it. Beautifully packaged too. 26 December 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty for entertaining friends. I have had my eye on this collection for a while and when I had a new kitchen fitted I decided to treat myself. This product is so pretty and I always think tea tastes so much better when poured and served using bone china. 09 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful tea pot Bought all of the cuckoo range, and am highly delighted with all items. This teapot is great for two cups of tea. The lid could fit better if I'm honest, but I still love it. 28 September 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charming small bone china teapot Part of Wedgwood's 'Harlequin' range, this delicate pink and blue 'Cuckoo' teapot is beautifully and very securely packaged in a pale blue and gold gift box. I love its unusual, almost Georgian, design with its high spout, comfortable handle and very wide rim around the lid. When first unpacked I was surprised by how small it is: the main body of the pot is only 3.5 inches/9 cm high (4.5 inches/11.5 mm to the top of the lid) and it holds roughly 15 fluid oz/440 ml. It was only when I started using it with its 'Cuckoo' cups and saucers that I understood just how well it's been designed: leaving room for a generous dollop of milk, it holds precisely 4 cups' worth (3 without milk), and it looks so dainty with its matching china. The lid has a standard little protuberance to prevent it from falling out when pouring but there's no built-in filter to the spout. It pours accurately - so long as you take it slowly - in a delicate arc that conjures up 'Afternoon Tea at the Ritz'. But don't over-fill or the first pour will go everywhere! It's also not a good idea to swirl the pot when it's full as the liquid's likely to splutter out of its high spout (as I know to my cost). All-in-all, though, a really well-designed fine bone china teapot that looks wonderful and behaves well. The Wedgwood site states that this teapot is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe, though personally I wouldn't risk that lovely gold trim in the microwave. I put mine in the dishwasher using gentle dishwasher tablets and it comes out looking fine. 23 November 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely Teapot I bought this teapot online for my mum's 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. Lovely decoration and quality! I also bought 2 matching tea cups which went with the teapot beautifully. This is a wonderful product and really made my mum's day 30 August 2011
