The Edit

Introducing the Bloggers

Dotted Line

For an exclusive new addition to our Fashion Edit campaign, and to launch our John Lewis Instagram, we invited four fabulous fashion bloggers to an intimate East London shoot. Picked entirely from the curated New Propotions collection, they selected their favourite pieces and styled them into 3 looks each. Meet Anneli, Melissa, Kylie and Kristabel...

I’d describe my style as minimal, edgy and feminine, so I was instantly drawn to that amazing Whistles knit, Mint Velvet boyfriend jeans and Hobbs loafers.

I’m forever perfecting my capsule wardrobe, updating the classics to then add my favourite must-haves each season. I loved the simple silhouettes within this EDIT, mixed with unexpected details and prints, it’s the perfect combo of masculine and feminine.

I love clothes that are form-fitting and feminine, body-conscious cuts flatter my curves so both the leather Whistles and pink Reiss pencil skirts were definitely my favourites.

My style is fun and preppy, I have a full time job as well as my blog so I am all about day-to-night styling; luxe knits, pops of colour and a single printed piece, teamed with a statement heel for evening events.

New Proportions had so many pieces I loved. My style is classic and quite eclectic, often with a playful, bohemian edge, I like to mix my colours and am always trying out the latest trends.

My key pieces have to be the amazing Kin culottes, textured bomber jackets and striped tees. Both directional and trend-driven, yet totally wearable, each piece definitely deserves a spot in my everyday wardrobe!

If I had to describe my style in three words I’d have to say eclectic, colourful and textural. I like to add edge to capsule pieces by adding my own twist, and mixing-up tough with pretty.

The collection for me had so many quality basics, from the striped tees to the bombers and shirts. Perfect foundation pieces for me to play around with, and add my own SS14 touches to.
