The top note is almost cold through the presence of a fused spicy note combined with the freshness of bergamot, which adds a sensation of energy and movement. Then come sumptuous, silky soft notes of white flower. At the heart lies quintessentially elegant iris, a flower with woody overtones, structuring the fragrance with an identity which is a back-reference to the strong “masculine” side that every woman has deep inside her. The base picks up on this vibrancy by creating a trail that transgresses the over-demure conventions of the day and age like a subliminal message, while respecting the mark of great elegance. It opens onto a note of oak moss which is the hallmark of the elegance of chypre fragrances. Then a note of patchouli – deep, woody, vibrant and intense – accompanies the floral note to create a mysterious and exciting trail which leaves quite remarkable presence.
