The 2019 Apple AirPods provide you with even more talk time, voice-activated Siri access, as well as wireless charging, thanks to the new Qi-compatible, wireless charging case. Just take the AirPods out of the case to activate them – music will start playing the moment you put the AirPods in your ears and will handily pause when you remove them.
H1 chip
Apple’s H1 chip ensures your 2019 AirPods will have even better connectivity, will increase battery life and also speed up pairing times. It also provides lower gaming latency and voice-enabled Siri access.
Ask Siri
If you want Apple’s voice assistant to help out, just say: ‘Hey Siri’ and it will spring into action, meaning you no longer have to reach for your iPhone.
Power up
Just place your AirPods case on a Qi-compatible charging mat (sold separately) and the case will start to power up – providing your AirPods with multiple charges. If you don’t have a charging mat to hand, just use the trusty Lightning port. To check the battery levels, just ask Siri: ‘How’s the battery on my AirPods?’
Clear sounds
When you’re on a call or talking to Siri, the AirPods’ speech-detecting accelerometer works with beamforming microphones to filter out background noise and focus on the sound of your voice.
Use your way
There are times when using just one AirPod seems sensible – not to worry, you can wear one or both. Additionally, you can play or skip forward with a double tap when listening to music.
