Squat, spin, stride, you name it…Apple Watch has a workout for it in the enhanced Workout app. And with Workout Views, you’ll be able to see more advanced metrics at a glance, like Heart Rate Zones and customised intervals to keep you going strong.

Choose from a catalogue of workouts and meditations led by expert trainers and see in-session metrics from your Apple Watch, like heart rate and calories burned onscreen. There are over 30 new workouts and meditations added each week, so if it's HIIT, Pilates, Strength, or Yoga - no matter your focus, there's a programme fit for you (subscription required, click here for more details).

Apple Fitness+ requires an Apple Watch Series 3 or later. Available when paired with iPhone 8 or later with iOS 14.3 or later.

What's the difference between Bluetooth and cellular?

Bluetooth connectivity
Some smart watches with Bluetooth can let you send and receive text messages, answer telephone calls and receive notifications when it's connected to your (compatible) phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Bluetooth + cellular
Smart watches with built-in cellular offer the freedom to send and receive text messages, answer phone calls and even receive notifications when you don't have your phone with you.

Cellular carrier support
Connecting your cellular enabled smart watch to a cellular network requires the same carrier as your (compatible) phone.
