- LIGHTSTRIKE midsole balances lightweight support with total comfort
- Continental rubber sole enhances traction across a range of surfaces
- Torsion system provides midfoot stability where you need it most
- Breathable mesh upper allows the foot the flex naturally
When your running shoes are comfortable, you don't think about your feet. You think about going a little farther. Or a little faster. After all, the SL20's weren't just made to help get you to the finish line. They were designed to help you get to the starting line.
Just shy of weighing 250g, we're not kidding when we say these shoes were made for speed. Their breathable mesh upper and knit design keep your feet feeling fresh and helps the foot to flex naturally during take-off and landing. In practical terms, they'll feel more like socks than shoes.
But don't think just because they're light that adidas have skipped out on cushioning (you might just as well run in socks otherwise). LIGHTSTRIKE foam in the midsole is responsive enough for explosive speed and springy enough for total comfort.
Elsewhere, the Continental rubber sole provides durable traction across a range of surfaces, and the torsion system means you'll receive more anatomically accurate support in the forefoot and the heel.
