Previous iPads have displays made of three separate components. iPad Air 2 combines these three layers into one, eliminating any gaps between them, reducing internal reflectance and resulting in richer colours, greater contrast and sharper, more vivid images. A new anti-reflective coating further reduces possible glare, making it easier to view and interact with content wherever you are. Screen sensitivity has also been improved to ensure faster, more accurate tracking of your gestures.

Massive performance
iPad Air 2 is the fastest, most powerful iPad ever thanks to its 64-bit A8X chip and M8 motion coprocessor. The A8X delivers speed and graphics that are comparable to personal computers. iPad Air 2 features an unprecedented level of security thanks to Touch ID. Touch ID lets you use your fingerprint as your password, letting you unlock your iPad or make secure purchases on the App Store, iTunes and iBooks. iOS 8
iOS 8 features a beautiful, easy-to-use interface, amazing features and security at its core, making your iPad more capable than ever. The new Continuity feature makes all of your Apple products more connected, allowing you to move seamlessly between devices, editing email drafts, sharing your browser history and even answering calls on your iPad or Mac. The QuickType keyboard makes typing easier by suggesting appropriate words that match your context, even remembering the tone you use when talking to different people.
 
iOS 8 makes it easier to access and share your files. iCloud Drive lets you store presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs, images and other important documents so that you can access them from all of your devices.
