Ever-improving on their designs to bring you closer to a more naturally supportive running shoe, the ASICS GEL KAYANO 26 uses a synthesis of cushioning and support systems to provide a softer, more comfortable running experience.

Designed in particular to combat moderate to severe overpronation, the Dynamic DuoMax Support and Guidance Trusstic system work with the Rear Foot Crash Pad to slow the rate of pronation. This helps to guide the foot through a more natural range of motion, creating a smoother heel to toe transition and improving your gait efficiency.

The aggressive sculpting of rearfoot gel and new contoured sock-liner also offer an improved underfoot feel with better impact absorption, with the DuraSponge Outsole working with the AHAR to ensure responsive cushioning and flexibility on the move.

Additionally, the new multi-directional mesh upper is knit in a way that provides added support in key areas while reducing weight and enhancing breathability. Its upper jacquard provides further lightweight breathability that tightens and looses in key areas to allow the foot to move naturally while still maintaining structure.

Its Personal Heel Fit (PHF) uses a two layer memory foam lining in the heel collar, updated from the GEL-KAYANO 25 model, to better optimize a plush, individualized fit, while convergence Gel helps dissipate shock better and increase the overall effectiveness of cushioning.
