"After successfully winning the contract to rebuild the Severn Trent Water Head Office in Coventry, BAM Construction were faced with the challenge of procuring and installing white goods into the kitchen areas of each floor in this new high tech building.
The requirements were very specific in terms of energy and water consumption for these products and they approached the Solutions for business team with a list of products and specifications. John Lewis supplied own brand integrated fridges and Bosch dishwashers which met the requirements of Severn Trent Water and were installed towards the end of this project.
The challenges around this project revolved around bulk quantities and timed delivery to the site. John Lewis delivered all items in the quantities required and worked to a delivery time slot on site.
I would recommend John Lewis due to their professional and diligent approach to the project. From the initial enquiry stages to throughout the project they were proactive, professional, and courteous and assured as to what they could deliver and how the project was going to be fulfilled. Their friendly and approachable way of working ensured that we sourced products that fitted the clients requirements and wishes, and then through the negotiations and the scheduling of deliveries to site ensured that all products arrived as programmed. We were then able to install all items on time and ensure the areas were completed and handed over to the client in good time and to the highest quality.
The service benefitted us mainly in the fact that it was a ‘one stop shop’ so to speak. All matters were dealt with through one point of contact which meant we were not having to speak to different departments in terms of ordering, scheduling, guarantees etc. This meant that all matters were swiftly resolved and that all parties clearly understood what was required and by when."
