This infant carrier from Ergobaby is all you need to carry your baby comfortably. With this you can carry your little one in three different positions: front (facing inward), hip and back. Their weight is evenly distributed between hips and shoulders and it’s ergonomic for them, too. In all positions, baby is cradled in a natural sitting position with their knees slightly above their hips, aligning with the recommended carry position from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
When used with an Ergobaby Infant Insert (sold separately), this baby carrier is usable with your newborn from day one (7-12lbs/ 3.2-5.5kg), and through toddlerhood (up to 45lbs/20kg).
There’s an adjustable padded waistbelt (26-55 in & 66-140 cm) and shoulder straps (61-114cm) offer maximum comfort and distribute weight evenly across wearer's hips and shoulders. There’s an adjustable hood to support baby's head while sleeping, to protect baby from sun and offer privacy while nursing. The large zippered storage pocket can hold almost anything you need so you can focus on your baby.
Please note: The references to ages and weights are only general guidelines and each baby’s development is different. The Easy Snug infant insert should be used until your baby demonstrates strong head and neck control and can be seated comfortably in an ergonomic, M-shaped position within the Carrier, even if their weight is more than 12lbs.

In 2002, a mother living on Maui searched for a baby carrier that would keep her newborn son close, to provide comfort and allow her to enjoy her active outdoor lifestyle and daily routine.
Knowing that indigenous cultures around the world wear their babies, this mother believed that carrying her son would let them experience life together, enjoy their daily activities and stay productive without having to sacrifice precious bonding time.
After trying seven different carriers with varying degrees of success, clothing designer Karin Frost developed her own soft structured carrier. With that early design, she went on to influence the safety standards by which all carriers are now made and revolutionize how we wear our babies.
Having set the industry’s gold standard, founder Karin is proud that Ergobaby helps to better the lives of families everywhere.More from Ergobaby
