Fuji's upgrade to their renowned X-Series cameras includes a raft of improvements to image quality. The XT-3 mirrorless camera features an APS-C sensor boasting 26.1MP of detail, 4K UHD Movies at 60p, and exceptionally fast autofocus. It handles with the usual satisfying manual operation as their renowned series, its host of cutting-edge refinements delivering stunning stills and movies.
26.1MP APS-C Sensor
The back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor boasts a high 26.1 megapixels for an APS-C sensor. It also has more than four times the number of phase detection pixels than the X-T2, distributed across the surface. And with sensitivity of ISO160 it's great for shooting outdoors and in low light.
Delivering fast and accurate autofocus, the X-T3 is about 1.5 times faster than the previous model. It delivers blackout-free continuous shooting of up to 30fps when using the electronic shutter. Face detection and eye detection performance have also been improved for more accurate tracking.
4K Movies at 60p
Record 4K UHD movies at 60p, a professional standard resolution. It also supports 10bit colour depth for rich and vivid real-world colour, like a breathtaking sunset.
X Processor 4
Incorporating 4 CPU units, the X Processor 4 is about 3 times faster than the X-T2 for improved Autofocus accuracy, and to deliver 4K UHD video at 60p.
The X-T3 inherits the X-T2’s design features such as the positioning of dials on the top panel, and excellent grip design for comfortable handling. Its styling is reminiscent of traditional film cameras, combined with outstanding practicality.
High Resolution Viewfinder
The X-T3 features a 3.69-million-dot high resolution EVF with a high magnification ratio of 0.75x. The display time lag of just 0.005 seconds and refresh rate of approximately 100 fps ensure smooth display of motion, allowing you to precisely identify subject movements and focus positions. And it's centrally positioned for a sense of optimum stability when shooting.
Its touch screen panel has higher contrast, a wider viewing angle and better operability than previous models to enable intuitive operation.
It’s supplied with a versatile 18-55mm zoom lens with maximum aperture f2.8 and a broad focal length ranging from 27mm wide angle to 84mm telephoto (35mm format equivalent), together with image stabilisation for crisp imagery in any shooting environment.
With Film Simulation, you can choose from classic Fujifilm photo styles, and give your pictures varied colour and tone to suit the subject, just like pros did with film. There's standard PROVIA, vivid Velvia, and ASTIA with its true-to-life skin tones; PRO Neg.Std and PRO Neg.Hi, which are portrait modes based on professional colour negative film; and Monochrome expression with three different filter effects as well as Sepia.
Smart Phone Control
With the dedicated "FUJIFILM Camera Remote" app, you can focus and trigger the camera release from your smart phone or tablet. The app not only lets you adjust focus, but also control settings like shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity.
The image stabilisation on this camera is Lens Only.
One of the biggest advantages of this camera is the sheer shooting flexibility on offer. You can use additional lenses to take wide-angle, telephoto, or close-up shots to suit just about any situation. The shorter the focal length (measured in mm), the wider the view will be – the longer the focal length, the more telescopic the picture. With a selection of interchangeable lenses at your disposal, the creative possibilities are endless. Click here to browse our selection.
