The GUERLAIN perfume house was founded in Paris in 1828 by Pierre-François-Pascal GUERLAIN, who opened the first boutique in the heart of the French capital, at 42, rue de Rivoli, where sophisticated women quickly head about his fragrant creations and beauty products.
180 years later, five generations of perfumers have succeeded one another in holding the creative reins, conjuring over 800 fragrances, including a number of timeless successes. Thierry Wasser is the current GUERLAIN Perfumer. He continues GUERLAIN’s bold tradition in combing the world for the most exclusive raw materials.
This sense of daring also permeates the make-up ranges, drawing on unique expertise to reveal and enhance women’s true beauty. The brand’s Iconic creations are fuelled by the imagination of its Creative Director, Olivier Echaudemaison.
The same audacious approach drives GUERLAIN Research, extracting the best nature has to offer in terms of inspiration and raw materials to create remarkable skincare products through a unique alchemy of nature and science.
Since 1828, GUERLAIN has continued to pursue an insatiable quest for the beautiful. La Petite Robe Noire, Shalimar, Habit Rouge, Terracotta, Météorites, Orchidée Impériale and Abeille Royale are just a few shining examples of this aesthetic exploration, embodied by an iconic showcase: 68, Champs-Elysées. A legendary address for a unique brand.
