This theme is inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints, where artists use elements of Japanese art and update the composition and layout in a contemporary way.

The palette is predominantly red with gold. Here we have our traditional Christmas icons of mistletoe, berries and robins but drawn up in a contemporary style, as well as landscapes, bonsai trees, cherry blossoms, fish and lanterns.

All of this year's design themes have been inspired by the colour and creativity within art and the idea that art is for all.
