Product description
Product code: 64674101
A classic print reworked as a rug, the Strawberry Thief design shows cheeky birds stealing strawberries against a beautifully created backdrop inspired by the beauty of nature.
Hand-tufted and hand-carved from a wool-rich blend, this rug boasts an intricate, multi-dimensional look and feel underfoot.
Originally a fabric designed by Morris and registered in 1883, Strawberry Thief was the first indigo discharge printed on cotton at Merton Abbey.
About your new rug
- We recommend John Lewis & Partners Rug Hold Underlay. It prevents your rug from moving underfoot and protects against colour transfer to the floor
- Natural fibres may shed. This will reduce over time, and shouldn’t affect your rug’s lifespan or performance
- When vacuuming your rug, use suction only. Rotating brushes may damage the fibres
- Blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub or use harsh detergents.
