Ideal for radio lovers, the R7 Mk3 features DAB, DAB+ and FM RDS tuners for the best of digital and analogue listening. Internet radio expands your choice exponentially by giving you access to broadcasts from around the globe when the R7 is connected to your home network. With wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, connecting to a network is fast and reliable. Bluetooth is a great option for non-networked devices, or for when friends are visiting and want to share their music. aptX HD technology ensures the wireless connection is as good as a wired one for high definition listening. This allows you to stream CD quality audio from compatible devices like your smart phone or tablet. Or, stream music direct from Spotify with the built-in Spotify Connect feature.*
Multi-Format CD Player
You can enjoy your CD collection in its original quality glory. The slot loading multi-format player plays CDs and discs encoded with MP3, WAV and other popular files with total clarity. Adjustable EQ also lets you tune your listening to perfection.
High Performing Audio
Combining a high capacity linear power supply with 2.1 channel Class A-B discrete component amplifiers, the R7 Mk3 is a powerful device which reproduces sound with effortless ease. Two 140mm dual concentric stereo drivers provide a realistic soundstage which allows for a wide and smooth frequency response. And further enhancing the R7’s performance is an integrated active subwoofer which covers the whole range from highs and vocals down to the bottom end, with beautifully powerful bass.
Multi-room ready
The R7 MK3’s multi-room capabilities make it easy to link it with other Ruark models like the MRx, R2 Mk3 and R5 to provide synced sound throughout the home.
Easy to Control
Something as special as the R7 needs a special remote. The RotoDial radio link remote is built around the contours of the palm. Each button is within easy reach of the fingers, while the rotary volume control nestles under the thumb. As it works by RF communication, it doesn’t need to be aimed either. Furthermore the Ruark Link App allows for full control of your R7 from your tablet or smartphone. Free to download from the iOS and Android App store, it lets you browse internet radio and DAB stations with ease, navigate your music stored on your network devices and stream all of your favourite playlists from music services like Spotify. The USB charging port (found on the rear panel) helps to keep your Smart phone or tablet powered up and ready to go, even when the R7 is in active or standby mode. And you can also play music files from USB memory sticks.
Designer Finish
Showcasing a British design of aluminium, glass and a rich walnut veneer, the R7 Mk3is a beautiful piece of equipment which will find a place in the home no matter the type of decor.
