Combining the fast heating benefits of induction with touch-sensitive slide control, the Samsung NZ64H37070K/EU induction hob offers four cooking zones on a sleek, black ceramic glass surface that will look good in any contemporary kitchen.
Induction is faster than other hob heating technology. It heats the pan, not the hob itself, which is not only more energy efficient, it also ensures that the surrounding area stays cool to the touch. This hob incorporates an automatic pan detector to ensure that you use the right cookware for each cooking zone. When a pan placed centrally on a cooking zone covers less than 60 percent of the area, the hob will alert you with a message to use different cookware.
The extra wide and intuitive slide controls of this cooktop enable fast and precise control of your cooking. You simply touch and glide your finger across the LED control panel to instantly set or adjust the heat level for each cooking zone. And because it's nice and wide, you can be very exact with your settings.
A quick stop function helps you to stop pans from boiling over or burning and instantly minimises the impact of spillages. You just turn off the cooking zones with one touch of your finger. And if you need to leave the kitchen, this quick stop function means you can safely walk away with no worries. Plus, a child safety lock, operated by the simple touch of a button, will prevent children from activating the cooking surface. And an automatic safety shutoff turns off a cooking zone if it's been left on for a long time.
Please note: If you have a heart pacemaker, do seek advice from your doctor before using an induction hob. Please also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
Please note: there should be a minimum height clearance of 65cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.
The maximum current in amperes the switch will carry continuously. Please consult a qualified electrician for power supply wiring requirements and to see if this product is compatible with your home.
