Unpackaged weight of the product
It all began with a baguette. In 1965, a young French baker, Guy Demarle started a French Revolution in baking with the first non-stick baking mat. Guy called the mats Silpat because of the innovative silicone and fibre manufacturing process, which is still used today. Having gained a reputation for baking the best baguettes in France and earned the adoration of professional bakers, Guy created a range of bakeware to fill home bakers with confidence in the kitchen.
