Barker Ross Leather Derby Shoes, Black
The Barker Ross Derby shoes are constructed with cork soles with soft leather forefoot insoles for advanced moisture management.
Their composition allows your foot to naturally bend and provides a degree of shock absorption, ensuring constant comfort. The calf leather uppers provide a soft, luxurious finish and a flexible fit. As with all leather soled shoes we recommend for the first couple of times to walk them in on a dry, gritty surface. Care should be taken when worn in wet conditions as they can become slippery. Continual use in damp or wet conditions will weaken sole material, if they become wet allow to dry naturally. It is good practise that shoes are rotated on a day to day basis to prevent premature wear.

In 1880, Barker was founded by Arthur Barker, with a vision to create some of the finest shoes in Northamptonshire. Unable to satisfy increasing demands, he employed other craftsmen in surrounding villages to fulfil his growing order book. With a keen eye on the future and a shrewd sense of timing, Barker invested in factory premises at the turn of the century, later securing contracts to supply the British army with boots during the First World War.
The Barker brand went from strength to strength as Arthur's three sons joined the family business, taking the brand into new markets and territories.
Today, Barker is owned by an international group who are committed towards maintaining the brand integrity. Only the most carefully selected leathers are used and the uppers are shaped on the last by hand. Many other traditional shoemaking methods are still employed including slow natural drying and polishing.
The measurements shown on the size chart are body measurements. These are average measurements for guidance to determine which size is right for you.
