Crafted from pure Shetland wool, this aran yarn is an incredibly natural and sustainable fibre, world renowned for its fineness and warmth. The high levels of crimp and wave in the fleece make it ideal for hand knitting.
Croft has a soft and silky handle that retains a lot of durability, and has been inspired by the heritage of the Shetland Islands and the crofters themselves. Crofting is integral to the landscape, cultural heritage and social economy of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. It bonds people and places, preserving livelihoods.
