Rattan or natural brushwood-style hedgehog houses with an open bottom are not suitable for Hedgehog Rescue Centres. We recommend that Hedgehog Rescue Centres use wooden hedgehog houses where the roof can be opened to check on or inspect recuperating hedgehogs.
