UK Customer Satisfaction Index: this is based on an online survey of 10,000 consumers representative of the total UK population. John Lewis was the highest-scoring individual organisation with a score of 87.7 points, with Waitrose in 6th place scoring 85 points. Since 2009, both John Lewis and Waitrose have consistently scored over 80 points.
Which? awards 2014: John Lewis was named Best Retailer for the second year running, with Waitrose winning Best Supermarket and John Lewis Financial Services receiving Which? Recommended Provider status for car and home insurance
Verdict Customer Satisfaction awards 2014: From a survey of almost 6000 consumers, John Lewis was awarded Retailer of the Year, best overall online retailer, and best retailer for online fulfilment. We also won the Homewares and Electrical categories. Waitrose was named top food and grocery retailer.
