The NikolaTesla Alpha is an advanced induction hob with a central extraction fan that helps you cook up a storm without that sauna feeling. The sleek black glass design allows it to blend seamlessly with the rest of your worktop.
High performance
Delivering excellent performance day after day, the NikolaTesla Alpha boasts a booster airflow of 580m³/h, and a maximum noise level of 61db.
Auto air capture
The NikolaTesla Alpha automatically adjusts its extraction power by detecting the active cooking zones and setting the most suitable fume and odour capture level.
Stop and Go
The Stop and Go feature lets you switch the hob off, and then quickly resume working at the same temperature. This is ideal for when you have to take a call or need to sort something in another room.

Please note: there should be a minimum height clearance of 75cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.
What’s an induction hob?
Induction hobs heat the pan, not the hob, using an electrical current. Induction hobs can heat a pan faster than a traditional gas or electric hob and are more energy efficient. They’re also easier to clean, as you can wipe the hob shortly after using it. Remember, not all ceramic hobs are induction hobs.
An induction hob can only be used with induction-compatible pans. You can use induction kettles (which are faster to boil than normal kettles) with induction hobs. The fine degree of control over the power of the hob is also good for tasks like melting chocolate or making a sauce.
