2-burner cooking
The grilling system has two burners so you can happily cater for small groups of four to six people. It includes Weber’s unique Flavorizer bars, made of durable stainless steel. The burners provide even heat over the generous cooking area so that food is cooked evenly no matter where it's placed on the grate.
Built-in lid thermometer
Cook at the right temperature with the easy-to-read thermometer, built into the porcelain-enamelled lid. The barbecue has a warming rack to keep food warm for timing and serving meals.
Cabinet and side shelves
The barbecue comes with a storage cabinet and a steel door. With two stainless steel side shelves, there’s no need to keep running to the kitchen. Keep food and utensils close at hand on the shelves, both of which fold for compact storage. Two hooks are provided for hanging up barbecue tools.
Gourmet Barbecue System
The Gourmet Barbecue System (GBS) cooking grates making it compatible with a menu of Weber specialist accessories such as pizza stones, griddles, casseroles and poultry roasters (sold separately).
Easy to clean and transport
The porcelain enamel finish is easy to clean and prevents rusting and cracking. The barbecue has a front-access slide-out grease tray and catch pan. When cooking is over, you can move the barbecue along on its four swivel castor wheels, two of which lock in place.
Worth knowing: Manufacturers recommend that you should safely leak test all gas connections on your new grill before use. A 5kg or 13kg patio gas bottle will need to be strapped under the barbecue when grilling.

- After use, open lid and turn burners up high, let cooking grates burn off until smoke goes, brush grates over with brass bristled brush. On next use, let grates heat thoroughly and brush down again

Brand information
Hungry for success in the 1950s, George Stephen Snr would soon change the way Americans cooked outdoors. Working at Weber Brothers Metalworks in Chicago, manufacturing marine buoys, he decided to chop a metal buoy in half, add air vents and legs and so created the original kettle barbecue. His lidded barbecue looked like a spaceship but it soon took off when people tasted its grilling results.
With post-war Americans embracing less formal entertaining at home, outdoor covered cooking caught on and not long after setting up on his own, George was able to buy out Weber Brothers. Weber gas and electric barbecues went from strength to strength, especially with the arrival of the Weber Genesis in the 1980s. Weber is now known worldwide for its barbecues, tools, covers and other BBQ accessories.
