We understand the world’s most valuable currency is trust.
We're delighted to announce that the John Lewis Foreign Currency service is available online at johnlewisforeigncurrency.com
(opens in a new window) and at even more Bureaux de change in John Lewis shops. You can rely on great value and service, as you’d expect from us.
We review our exchange rates every weekday, (except bank holidays), so you can be sure you’re getting our best available prices. You’ll find the same great rates online and in store. You can order between £100 and £2500; there are no hidden fees, and we don't charge commission. (Please note though that fees and charges may apply if you're using a credit card and your bank may charge a cash advance fee; interest is charged from the day of purchase)
John Lewis Bureaux de change
Visit our Bureaux de change in store to buy foreign currency and traveller’s cheques. You’ll find 30 currencies in stock (see below), with 30 additional currencies available to order online.
You can also buy traveller’s cheques in Sterling and US, Canadian and Australian dollars in store.
Never Knowingly Undersold on John Lewis Foreign Currency
When buying your travel money at one of our in-store Bureaux, you can rest assured you're receiving good value for money. As well as offering 0% commission on your purchase, we are also committed to the John Lewis Never Knowingly Undersold price promise.
So, if you find a better rate elsewhere on the high street, drop by to one of our Bureaux with a quote slip and we will match that price. You can even claim a price match up to 28 days from purchase, as long as the date on the competitor quote slip matches your original purchase date.
Once you’re back from your travels, we can buy back any leftover notes or unused traveller’s cheques you may have at that day’s rate, provided that they’re in a saleable condition.
