Loving it. Breville sandwich maker is easy to use/ clean and makes perfect toasted sandwiches. They come out crispy if you keep them little longer which we prefer. Yummmmmy. 16 January 2013

Very Easy to use and clean Bought this as a present for my husband who used to have a sandwich maker in the 'olden days' which he hardly ever used because of difficulty in cleaning it . This one obviously doesn't get as hot and is a great deal lighter than the last model, but it functions well and is now in regular use-and would be used even more often if we didn't have to think 'healthy'. Cleaning is a doddle! 07 January 2013

Good for lunch We have used this sandwich maker several times and each time the results have been excellent. It is very easy to use and cleaning is quick and easy. The sandwich plates are easy to remove and clean. When putting the plates back, the instructions say to plug the unit in and let a small amount of heat dry off the plates. A valid point to avoid degradation of the plates. Just a tip, I have cut out a rectangular shape from a plastick food box to match the outline of one of the plates. I use this as a gude to cut the bread to size. This ensures that the bread does not hang over sides making the lid difficult to close. 13 December 2012

Toaster trauma I purchased this toaster based on the good reviews but sadly unlike other reviewers I find this extremely difficult to clean, maybe I'm over filling the sandwiches but I find melted cheese runs down over the spiral cable covering and I get melted butter all over my work top. I will still use it but maybe not as often as I would like. 25 October 2012

Love the removable plates My husband and I love this machine. So much easier to clean than previous toastie makers due to its removable plates. I wouldn't say it was able to do deep-fill sandwiches though (no more than the usual size). 26 September 2012

Does what it should Very happy with the toasted sandwiches this makes. Could do to cut them a bit better but not a big issue. Heats up quickly and easy to remove and clean the plates. 08 August 2012
