A perfect family kettle Having spent some time deciding on a larger replacement kettle, I'm pleased to say I'm delighted with my choice. I wanted a stylish, stainless steel kettle which would cater for our family of 5 plus a few visitors. We usually use mugs, so if there are more than 6 to 7 of us the kettle has to be refilled. However, it does boil quite quickly. No problems with filling from a filter jug, the lid fits well/ is not too tight and it has been easy to maintain the new look. 04 January 2013

lovely! lovely looking, well made, quality kettle. handle feels good, easy to fill and no drips on pouring at all. fill window and "on" light on both sides of the kettle - horray! - im left handed!! reasonably quiet, and quick to boil - doesn't "overboil" like some cheap kettles. filter easy to remove and replace. not cheap, but worth the extra for the quality. built to last. and thanks john lewis for the 2 year guarantee! 13 December 2012
