OK but could be sharper Brought these after reading all the good reviews but found that although they did the job of cutting fabric, they weren't as sharp as I would have expected so made cutting a harder job than it should have been. I will try sharpening them and see if that makes a difference but they should be sharp from new. 14 December 2012

Good sturdy scissors These are really good scissors, comfortable to use and cut really well. I have an old pair of scissors and realised the other day that they were Jonelle, still cutting really well even after 20+ years- say no more! 13 June 2012

Great value dressmaking scissors! For those that need a special pair just for dressmaking, these scissors are a must have. Not only for the value but the performance too: they are sleek and lightweight yet durable, and even come with a 20 year guarentee! They aren’t bulky either, so fit in nicely into a sewing box, ideal to take to classes. Be sure not to use them on anything but fabric, as paper or scissors will blunt the blades. 17 July 2011
