John Lewis Low Shoe Storage Cabinet, Oak
Not built to last
We have had this product for less than 2 years and for the first year we were happy. After about a year the bottom hatch has come unscrewed on a number of occasions. Each time we screw it back together, but it falls apart again. We have even had a retired joiner try and repair it, but it still keeps falling apart. Given the price I would have expected the product to last a lot longer. Feedback has been given to John Lewis customer services about our disappointment.

Good solid furniture
A super robust freestanding shoe rack that is far more sustantial than it's Ikea pre-decessor.

Really stylish cabinet
I am delighted with this extremely well crafted oak cabinet and can stack all my shoes (including low high heels) (it probably wdn't take very high ones)!!!
The upper shelf is useful for umbrellas, camera, gloves - all stored near
front door. I find it ideal for my small flat and has got quite a few compliments.

Ideal shoe storage
This is an excellent product, it does what it says and looks great in our hallway. Perhaps a little bit pricey but we were unable to find any other product that came close to this one. We would recommend this to anyone.

Useful piece of furniture
We are very pleased with this shoe storage unit. It has gobbled up all our outdoor shoes including a couple of pairs of winter boots. It has made an otherwise messy space, neat and tidy. The shelf at the top is handy for scarves and gloves. The only reason for not excellent, is the fact that you do need to shift the shoes around to enable the front to shut securely. Not much of a problem though once you get used to it.

Stylish and practical
This product is nice and slim, so doesn't take up too much space. It's great for shoes. I wish I could fit more shoes in it but I guess that would mean it would be bigger! It has a handy shelf for putting umbrellas, keys and loose change.

John Lewis, Shoe Storage Cabinet Oak
This is a nice solid shoe cabinet. I love the oak wood. But the bottom swinging shelf scratches the bottom of the cabinet when it opens and closes and the screws keep coming loose, which is rather annoying. I am not sure if the bottom shelf is meant to make contact with the bottom of the cabinet, but it is not a good idea. I suggest using glue to to stop the screws coming off.
