Ordered this table in store. When it arrived, we opened up the box and found one of the very small hinges was broken and the metal had shattered so one of the drop leaf sides would not work.
John Lewis agreed to send a replacement. When the replacement arrived, the driver informed us replacement was damaged and something had been pulled off.
John Lewis agreed to issue a refund and took the table away on a third delivery slot. We had the table for a couple of weeks and was informed we could use the working side in the interim until it was collected.
Got the impression that while the table looks great and works well that it does not survive transit well, so even if we had got a fixed one, it would be likely to break if we ever moved home.
We also found that on carpet, the wheels don't really work and the table is a little unstable due to how thin it is when not open. So moving it was awkward. Better for smooth flooring, not carpeted rooms.
If you only use one side up, the other side rattles or knocks against the central leg. So it needs a couple of rubber bits underneath in my opinion so if the drop leaf sways into the central leg it does not hit it so loudly when it rattles.
Customer service was good though to resolve our issues.

As per other reviews, the photos don't do it justice. Easy to store and use. Very happy.

Sorry, but I am just not happy with this table. It's very heavy, and although there are castors, they don't seem to work. I find I'm simply dragging the table across the carpet, which is not good for my back or the carpet. Additionally, the handles at each end are not comfortable to hold, especially when pulling the table, and its weight and height mean it is very unstable and liable to topple over. Once in place and extended, it's pretty solid but not that comfortable for 4 adults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ben321 Excellent quality product
The table is a good size for 6+ people when fully extended, or works nicely for 3 ppl with just one side out. It folds away to a very small size (the main reason I bought it), the quality of the build is very good, and it's solid and heavy. The pictures on the site don't really do it justice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CeeBee77 Good Product.
Folds away neatly to give you more floor space. Great idea. Though it is heavier than I thought - but the benefit is it's a solid steady table when fully opened up.
Or you can have just one side opened for three to dine.
One small niggle -when you're dining with one side down - it tends to "knock" against the table leg. Just a couple of screwed/glued-on rubber stops would have solved this annoyance.
Probably go and buy some and do it myself.
Good price. Excellent free delivery. Very happy with the product. Don't forget the rubber stops though.

Table is heavy, on wheels to move about, very strong hinges, very easy to use, without any hassle. Fits nicely away. Lovely finish to the table. Take up hardly any room. Well worth the money. Looks expensive. 100 times better than the pictures shown. Its light oak rather than dark oak.

a very good table for the money, better looking than the picture suggests. the first one was slightly damaged, it was changed quickly with no fuss. it takes up no space when closed but is really big when opened. very stable and easy to move.
