John Lewis Fitted Kitchens

Choosing your kitchen

We offer a wide range of kitchens with lots of style and budget options, from cool and contemporary to classic Shaker looks. No matter what you opt for, all our ranges offer quality constructions and exceptional attention to detail, to make sure that what you buy from us really is your dream kitchen.

Visit or call one of our shops to arrange a planning meeting with one of our experienced Fitted Kitchens Partners. (Online booking for an appointment available in selected trial shops - see below) They'll discuss with you:

  • what you want from your new kitchen and your budget, and show you kitchen ranges, work tops, and units which may suit you best
  • the service we offer, including timescales and installation,
  • every aspect of your new kitchen, from sinks and worktops to lighting and electrical appliances

Your appointment will take 1-2 hours. Before you come along, please have a think about the kind of kitchen you're looking for, and it's helpful if you can give us a guide to the approximate dimensions of the room. Although we won't be designing the kitchen at this stage, any information you can give us helps us advise you what may be achievable within your space.

If it will be at least 6 months before you're ready to install your new ktichen, we recommend you book your consultation nearer the time.

Fitted kitchens are available from all our shops except John Lewis Trafford; Knight & Lee, Southsea; and our at Home branches. We also offer interest-free credit on fitted kitchens when you spend over £1000, which can also include large appliances you order as part of your kitchen project.

Planning your kitchen

Once you've decided on your budget and style of kitchen, you can make an appointment for one of our experienced Experts on Hand planners to visit your home. This service costs £50, but it's fully refundable should you decide to go ahead with your plan.

The planner will measure your room, and work out design details to create a room that suits your lifestyle, makes the best use of the available space, and works within your budget. We'll then produce an estimate to supply and fit your new kitchen, and send you a plan of your design with colour elevations.

If you'd like a little help around knowing what you need to consider when planning your kitchen, read these tips from Jude Keenan, one of our experienced kitchen planners. To give some idea of cost comparison between the ranges, download our comparison guide PDF.

Installing your kitchen

Once you've accepted the estimate and we've arranged a fitting date, our installation team will remove your old kitchen and fit the new one, with all plumbing, electrical and gas connections carried out by accredited technicians.

Every kitchen unit is delivered assembled for easy installation. Soft-close drawers and doors come as standard, and drawers extend fully for easy access. Drawer and door fronts are detachable for cleaning, and all our kitchens use the latest internal accessories to allow flexibility and ensure that space is used to its maximum. And all John Lewis kitchens come with a 10-year guarantee.
