MaxiSense pan-sensing technology means the AEG HKH81700FB Induction Hob offers you the freedom to cook anywhere across its generous cooking area. Place pans of any size or shape anywhere on the hob surface and cook accurately and creatively thanks to precise controls and quick response.

Freedom zone
The quickest way to cook, this induction hob heats the pan and nothing else. Its large FreeZone cooking area senses pans of any size or shape anywhere on its surface, heating up in exactly the right places. Alternatively, you can split the cooking area into two individual cooking zones. Either way, you can use up to five pans anywhere, instantly, meaning economical energy usage. And there is the option of maximising the cooking area for massive pots measuring up to 45.4cm x 30cm in size.

Precise temperatures
From boiling ingredients to just keeping them warm: when you need repeated quick heat changes to create a dish, PowerSlide technology provides a better way of working. This system allows you to simply slide your pan from heat to heat, without stopping to adjust temperatures up and down. PowerSlide also lets you pre-set different temperatures for different zones of your hob - you can choose your own settings or use the hob’s own pre-sets temperatures.

Cooking control
The MaxiSense Combi’s large touch, colour display panel gives an immediate overview of everything happening on the hob. It shows you the position of each pot and the heat level under it, so you can focus on creative cookery. PowerSlide also lets you pre-set different temperatures on different zones of your hob. For each heat zone on the hob, an OptiHeat Control tracks the level of residual heat, so you can make the most of your remaining heat.

Please note: If you have a heart pacemaker, do seek advice from your doctor before using an induction hob. Please also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
