When the grill is operating, the grill door must always be in the open position. If the grill is operated with the grill door closed, the air supply to the grill burner is restricted causing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide to be produced.
If you own any of the gas range cookers below, YOU MUST ONLY USE THE GRILL WITH THE DOOR OPEN.
GDHA has agreed to visit every home containing affected Belling, New World and Stoves cookers to implement a free technical modification so that operation of the gas grill is safe. Affected consumers can contact the company directly from today to book an appointment.

This specifically relates to the bumper bars for the below styles:

The missing cap exposes a small hole which may present a possible finger entrapment hazard. The hole is visible at the base of the hinge mechanism and is only accessible when the bumper bar has been removed and levered back on one side.The bumper bar should have a cap on both ends and this issue could affect both or either end of the bar.

WHIRLPOOL: HOTPOINT / INDESIT CONDENSER AND VENTED TUMBLE DRYERS - 12 June
Whirlpool have issued a warning concerning Hotpoint and Indesit dryers that have a fault which needs fixing.
Manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015
The manufacturer has identified a potential safety concern with these tumble dryers, where in some rare cases excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element and present a fire risk.
If you have one of these tumble dryers, please stop using it and unplug it from the power supply. I think I have an affected device, what should I do?
Contact Whirlpool immediately on 0800 151 0905, or visit safety.hotpoint.eu, or safety.indesit.eu to check if your appliance is affected. If possible have the brand and model of your tumble dryer available. If it is affected by the recall program, the manufacturer will then arrange an engineer visit to modify your appliance.
In the meantime, unplug your appliance and do not use it until the modification has been completed.
I have had a modification already, however I do not feel safe.
The safety of consumers is Whirlpool’s number one priority and we can assure you that the Office of Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has completed a comprehensive and detailed review of the tumble dryer modification campaign which concluded that the modification is effective and that consumers that have had their tumble dryers modified can continue to use them safely.
My product has been modified do I now need to have this replaced?
Already modified machines aren't being recalled as the government has found the fix to be effective and that risks to consumers are low.
Why has the guidance changed again?
The advice to contact Whirlpool if you have an affected product remains unchanged. However, the extended recall programme that has been announced will offer consumers several options that include replacement, deeply discounted exchange as well as flexible free of charge in home modification that has been available since 2015.
How should I maintain my appliances?

The only potentially affected products that have been sold by JL are Hotpoint and Indesit branded vented or condenser tumble driers, up until 2015. If you are unsure about your Indesit /Hotpoint tumble drier, contact Whirlpool as stated above.

The safety of our customers is very important to us, so we're advising you that iCandy has issued a safety notice for a small number of iCandy Orange pushchairs that have bumper bars which are missing a plastic cap.
These products were sold between 1 February 2017 - 28 February 2019.
The missing cap exposes a small hole which may present a possible finger entrapment hazard. The hole is visible at the base of the hinge mechanism and is only accessible when the bumper bar has been removed and levered back on one side. The bumper bar should have a cap on both ends and this issue could affect both or either end of the bar.

As part of the Grenfell Tower enquiry, the Metropolitan Police said on Friday 23 June 2017 that the fire may have started in a Hotpoint fridge, model number FF175BP. Hotpoint is treating this matter with the utmost urgency and is fully co-operating with the Government and emergency services as the circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
