Why is this product being recalled?
The product is being recalled by our Suppliers, Char Broil, due to the grounding wire for the heating element on affected Patio Bistro Electric Grills possibly not being fully tightened. This could allow the grounding wire to become disconnected, resulting in a loss of fault protection and posing a risk of electric shock.
What do I do if my product is affected by the recall?
Follow the guidance on the recall poster and contact the suppliers (Char Broil directly) on 01993 884818 or via email recalleurope@charbroil.com. Their Customer Service team are available to speak to between 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday
Customers will be offered one of two resolutions:
• Free repair kit, together with a £50 digital reward code after the repair is successfully completed and the required documentation is submitted. The reward can be redeemed at a wide range of participating retailers.
• Free replacement grill if you are not comfortable completing the repair or the repair kit is not suitable for you

How can I tell if my grill is affected?
Check the model number and manufacturing date code on your grill's product label. For full-size grills, the label is located on the bottom shelf. For tabletop models, the label is located on the side bar.
Your grill is affected only if its model number and manufacturing date code match those included in the recall. You can also visit the applicable Char-Broil recall website for your country for information about affected products.
I have mislaid my receipt. What resolution can be offered?
You do not need a receipt to request a free repair kit or replacement grill. You will need to provide your grill's model number and manufacturing date code.
Are Char-Broil offering Goodwill to account for any inconvenience?

How do I request a free repair kit?
Contact Char-Broil using the recall telephone number, email address, or recall website provided. Char-Broil will arrange for a free repair kit to be sent to you.
How long will it take to receive my repair kit?
Delivery times may vary by country. Char-Broil will provide the expected delivery timeframe when your repair kit order is placed.
What is included in the repair kit?
The free repair kit includes detailed repair instructions, two spare screws, and a label to place on the grill after the repair has been completed. Tools are not included. The instructions identify the common household tools required to complete the repair.
How difficult is the repair?
The repair kit includes detailed instructions designed to make the repair simple and straightforward. If you have difficulty understanding the instructions, are uncertain about any part of the repair, or are not comfortable performing it yourself, stop the repair and contact Char-Broil. A free replacement grill is available as an alternative.
What if I do not want to perform the repair myself?
You do not have to complete the repair yourself if you are not comfortable doing so. Contact Char-Broil to arrange a free replacement grill.
How do I receive the £50 digital reward code?
Customers who successfully complete the repair and submit the required documentation through the applicable Char-Broil recall process will receive a £50 digital reward code. The digital reward can be redeemed at a wide selection of participating retailers.
What should I do if I am having trouble completing the repair?
If you are having difficulty with the repair instructions or are uncertain about any step, stop the repair and contact Char-Broil for assistance. Do not continue with the repair if you are unsure how to complete it correctly. You may choose a free replacement grill instead.
What do I need to do to receive a replacement grill?
If you choose a free replacement, you will need to make the recalled grill unusable before receiving the replacement. Char-Broil will provide instructions for submitting the required documentation.
1. Cut the grill's power cord.
2. Permanently deface the rating label.
3. Submit a photo to Char Broil showing that both steps have been completed.
If I choose a replacement grill, what is the expectation for collection/disposal of the old grill?
The supplier will pick up the old grill when they deliver the replacement.
What if I am unhappy with the resolutions offered?
Char-Broil are offering, by exception, a collection/refund. Customers should speak directly with Char-Broil who will look to resolve this.

Boden are recalling certain products within this range as a precaution because the button is cracking. One side of the waist poppers in these trousers can crack, potentially leaving sharp areas and creating a risk of scratches to the user.
