iCANDY PEACH PUSHCHAIRS & ACCESSORIES 2016 - 6 APRIL 2018

The safety of our customers is very important to us, so we're advising you that iCandy has issued a safety notice for iCandy Peach 2016 models and Peach Designer Collection Midnight Edition.

As part of iCandy's ongoing monitoring programme, they have identified a very small number of iCandy buckles that have broken in use. This relates specifically to the Peach 2016 model (batch E10799 to batch E10910) and the Peach Designer Collection Midnight Edition. 

As a precaution iCandy is offering a free replacement buckle to any customers who own an iCandy Peach 2016 model (batch E10799 to batch E10910) and the Peach Designer Collection Midnight Edition.

This  product was sold between 3 November 2017 and 22 March 2018 from John Lewis or johnlewis.com. The supplier is recalling this product due to a potential safety issue with a component in these seats.

The safety of our customers is very important to us; therefore we'd like to advise you that UPPAbaby has issued a notice for RumbleSeats that were manufactured between September 2014 and November 2016.

Despite passing all tests and meeting all standards, UPPAbaby has received reports about RumbleSeat adapters detaching from strollers that were sold prior to 2017.

As a precaution UPPAbaby is offering a free replacement adapter to any customer who owns a RumbleSeat, manufactured between September 2014 and November 2016, with the new 2017 RumbleSeat adapter.

If you have bought one of these since 1st January 2013 from John Lewis or johnlewis.com, please stop using it, and return it to your nearest John Lewis shop as soon as possible for a full refund, or to exchange it for an alternative product if you prefer.

The safety of our customers is very important to us, so as a precaution the supplier is recalling the West Elm Jensen dining table following a small number of incidents where the glass top has shattered unexpectedly.

If you have bought this item between 15 August 2015 and 11 September 2017 from John Lewis or johnlewis.com, please stop using it, and contact John Lewis Customer Services on 0345 600 2389 as soon as possible to arrange for the glass top to be collected and a replacement to be delivered, or a full refund.

Hotpoint/Indesit fridge freezer - 16 January 2018

Model numbers: FF175BP/FF175GB
Manufactured March 2006 - July 2009

As part of the Grenfell Tower enquiry, the Metropolitan Police said on Friday 23 June 2017 that the fire may have started in a Hotpoint fridge, model number FF175BP. Hotpoint is treating this matter with the utmost urgency and is fully co-operating with the Government and emergency services as the circumstances of the fire are being investigated.

If you are unsure about your fridge freezer model , or you believe that you may own a Hotpoint fridge freezer model number FF175BP or FF175BG (a colour variant of the BP model), we advise you to call the Hotpoint freephone hotline on 0800 316 3826 or visit hotpointservice.co.uk/fridgefreezer so that Hotpoint can register your details and contact you with further information as it becomes available.

We offer our sincere condolences to those affected by the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017.

Jo Malone London candles with free matches - 17 May 2017

As a precautionary measure, Jo Malone London is initiating a voluntary recall programme for complimentary matches supplied with Jo Malone London candles sold since August 2014. The matches aren’t strong enough and may break when struck, presenting a potential burn or fire hazard.

If you bought a Jo Malone London candle since 2014 and received these complimentary matches:

  • The matches and box are black.
  • Check the back of the box; if the letters SAF don’t have any numbers after them, these are the affected matches.
  • Dispose of the matches safely.

Beko condenser tumble dryer - 18 May 2017

As a precautionary measure, Beko plc is initiating a voluntary repair programme for 8kg and 9kg Beko condenser tumble dryers manufactured between May and October 2012. Beko has identified a production batch fitted with a faulty component supplied by a third party. In rare circumstances, the component could fail and overheat with a potential risk of fire.

If you bought one of these tumble dryers between May 2012 and May 2013:

Go to www.beko.co.uk/dryerrepair to check to see if the serial number of your appliance is affected. If it is one of the affected models, please stop using the appliance until it has been checked

Complete the online registration form to arrange a free visit by a Beko engineer to check your product and modify if needed.

Hotpoint / Indesit condenser and vented tumble dryers - 23 February 2017

Manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015

The manufacturer has identified a potential safety concern with these tumble dryers, where in some rare cases excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element and present a fire risk.

If you have one of these tumble dryers, please stop using it and unplug it from the power supply. Check your model number on this website: http://safety.hotpoint.eu or http://safety.indesit.eu, or contact Indesit on 0800 151 0905 for next steps should your model need corrective action.
