Carina Prigmore - Twilight Print & Mount, 40.2 x 40.2cm, Blue/White

A softly hued winter landscape at twilight, by artist Carina Prigmore. This framed print comes with a mount and a hand-painted grey ash wood frame.

Artist Carina Ekdahl Prigmore's paintings feature the striking Scottish landscape where she has lived since 2001. Originally from Sweden, Carina’s artworks are strongly influenced by her Scandinavian roots, which she often returns to. Through the use of layering techniques and some bold mark-making in acrylics, she creates atmosphere and mood in her work. Carina has a natural passion for the outdoors where she spends much time walking and being in nature. Carina’s paintings are often based on memories or feelings of a place that she hopes others can relate to.

Carina has a BSc Hons in Conservation Biology from the University of Aberdeen. She regularly shows her work at Kilmorack Gallery, Beauly, the Strathearn Galley, Crieff and most recently at Panter & Hall, London. Carina had a successful solo show 'Following the Seasons' at the Frames Gallery, Perth in Autumn 2018. Carina has also had her work displayed in the Mall Galleries, London and Bennington Centre for the Arts, Vermont, USA.
